Leaf, flower or seed-extracts of 29 dominant plant species found in northern India were screened against adult and juvenile stages of Aphelenchoides conzposticola infesting white button mushroom, Agancus bisporus. Leaf-extracts of Bougainvillea spectabilis, Calotropis procera, Cedrella tootza, Jacaranda acutifolia, Melia azadirach, Ricinus conmunis and Tagetes patula and seed-extracts of M. azadirach and R. conzlnunis were highly toxic to this nematode.
