We present a new class of 5D models, Holographic Technicolor, which fulfills the basic requirements for a candidate of comprehensible 4D strong dynamics at the electroweak scale. It is the first Technicolor-like model able to provide a vanishing or even negative tree-level S parameter, avoiding any no-go theorem on its sign. The model is described in the large-N regime. S is therefore computable: possible corrections coming from boundary terms follow the 1/N suppression, and generation of… Expand

Holographic bosonic technicolor
We consider a technicolor model in which the expectation value of an additional, possibly composite, scalar field is responsible for the generation of fermion masses. We define the dynamics of theExpand
Combined Constraints on Holographic Bosonic Technicolor
We consider a model of strong electroweak symmetry breaking in which the expectation value of an additional, possibly composite, scalar field is responsible for the generation of fermion masses. TheExpand
The S-parameter in holographic technicolor models
We study the S parameter, considering especially its sign, in models of elec- troweak symmetry breaking (EWSB) in extra dimensions, with fermions localized near the UV brane. Such models areExpand
Holographic technicolor model and dark matter
We investigate the strongly coupled minimal walking technicolor model (MWT) in the framework of a bottom-up holographic model, where the global $SU(4)$ symmetry breaks to $SO(4)$ subgroup. In theExpand
S-parameter, technimesons, and phase transitions in holographic tachyon DBI models.
We investigate some phenomenological aspects of the holographic models based on the tachyon Dirac-Born-Infeld action in the AdS space-time. These holographic theories model strongly interactingExpand
Minimal walking technicolor: Setup for collider physics
Different theoretical and phenomenological aspects of the minimal and nonminimal walking technicolor theories have recently been studied. The goal here is to make the models ready for colliderExpand
Constraining holographic technicolor
Abstract We obtain a new bound on the value of Peskin–Takeuchi S parameter in a wide class of bottom-up holographic models for technicolor. Namely, we show that weakly coupled holographic descriptionExpand
Holographic Technidilaton and LHC Searches
We analyze in detail the phenomenology of a model of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking inspired by walking technicolor, by using the techniques of the bottom-up approach to holography. TheExpand
Holographic technicolor models and their S-parameter
We study the Peskin-Takeuchi S-parameter of holographic technicolor models. We present the recipe for computing the parameter in a generalized holographic setup. We then apply it to severalExpand
Holographic walking technicolor from D-branes
Abstract We investigate a model of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking via a dual gravitational description. The gravity dual is obtained by embedding a D 7 – D 7 ¯ pair of branes into a type IIBExpand
