The five works of Stephen Crane I cho s e to discuss in this thesis are: "The Open Boat, " "A Mystery of Heroism, " "The Blue Hotel," Maggie: A Girl of the Streets, and The Red Badge of Courage. All of these works are representative of the fictional vis ion of Stephen Crane.
