Abstract In natural inflation models, the inflaton is a pseudo Nambu–Goldstone boson and the flatness of the potential is protected by shift symmetries. In this framework, a successful inflation requires the global symmetry to be spontaneously broken at a scale close to the Planck mass. Such a high value of the spontaneous breaking scale may not be legitimate in an effective field theory. On the other hand, if natural inflation occurs during the nonconventional high-energy era in braneworld…

Kähler potential braneworld inflation in supergravity after Planck 2015
We analyze the slow-roll mechanism in Randall–Sundrum II braneworld with a supersymmetric hybrid inflation model. We are interested in studying various inflationary spectrum perturbation parameters
Braneworld inflation from an effective field theory after WMAP three-year data
In light of the results from the WMAP three-year sky survey, we study an inflationary model based on a single-field polynomial potential, with up to quartic terms in the inflaton field. Our analysis
Reheating and leptogenesis in a SUGRA inspired brane inflation
Abstract We have studied extensively phenomenological implications in a specific model of brane inflation driven by background supergravity (Choudhury and Pal, 2011) [1] , via thermal history of the
Observational constraints on a hyperbolic potential in brane-world inflation
We focus on the large field of a hyperbolic potential form, which is characterized by a parameter f, in the framework of the brane-world inflation in Randall-Sundrum-II model. From the observed form
Natural Inflation on the brane with a TeV-scale gravity: Parameter constraints after Planck 2015
In the present work we have studied Natural Inflation in the framework of the Randall-Sundrum II brane model (RS-II) in the light of the latest Planck results. Adopting the Randall-Sundrum
Constraints on Brane-World Inflation from the CMB Power Spectrum: Revisited
We analyze the Randal Sundrum brane-world inflation scenario in the context of the latest CMB constraints from Planck. We summarize constraints on the most popular classes of models and explore some
New constraint of an attractor GL model in braneworld context
We are interested in studying the generalization of the first chaotic inflation model in supergravity, which was proposed by Goncharov and Linde (GL model) and was recently revisited, in the
Tree Level Potential on Brane after Planck and BICEP2
The recent detection of degree scale B-mode polarization in the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) by the BICEP2 experiment implies that the inflationary ratio of tensor-to-scalar fluctuations is
Randall–Sundrum II model from small field inflation in light of planck data and reheating temperature
We focus on the behaviours of small field of an arctangent potential form, in Randall–Sundrum II braneworld. Within this framework, there is only one brane with positive tension while the second

Sneutrino brane inflation and leptogenesis
Modifications to the Friedmann equation in brane cosmology can have important implications for early universe phenomena such as inflation and the generation of the baryon asymmetry. We study a simple
N=1supergravity chaotic inflation in the braneworld scenario
We study a N=1 Supergravity chaotic inflationary model, in the context of the braneworld scenario. It is shown that successful inflation and reheating consistent with phenomenological constraints can
Pseudonatural Inflation
We study how to obtain a sufficiently flat inflaton potential that is natural from the particle physics point of view. Supersymmetry, which is broken during inflation, cannot protect the potential
Completing natural inflation
If the inflaton is a pseudo-scalar axion, the axion shift symmetry can protect the flatness of its potential from too large radiative corrections. This possibility, known as natural inflation,
Observational constraints on braneworld chaotic inflation
We examine observational constraints on chaotic inflation models in the Randall-Sundrum type II braneworld. If inflation takes place in the high-energy regime, the perturbations produced by the
Constraints on braneworld inflation from CMB anisotropies
We obtain observational constraints on Randall–Sundrum type II braneworld inflation using a compilation of data including WMAP, the 2dF and latest SDSS galaxy redshift surveys. We place constraints
Natural inflation with pseudo Nambu-Goldstone bosons.
We show that a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson, with a potential of the form V(d) = A’[1 f cos(+/f)], can naturally give rise to an epoch of infiation in the early universe. Successful inflation can be
Inflation, braneworlds and quintessence
Abstract Inflationary cosmology is developed in the second Randall–Sundrum braneworld scenario, where the accelerated expansion arises through potentials that are too steep to drive inflation in
Gravitational waves from inflation on the brane
We discuss the evolution of gravitational waves in a brane-world cosmology embedded in five-dimensional anti-de Sitter spacetime. We show that during slow-roll inflation, modelled as a period of
Little inflatons and gauge inflation
Cosmological inflation gives a natural answer for a variety of cosmological questions, including the horizon problem, the flatness problem, and others. However, inflation yields new questions
