Empirical propagation models (EPM) have got high interest in both research and various applications due to their speed of execution and their limited dependence on detailed knowledge of the terrain. This paper derives a model for predicting radio frequency propagation for Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) deployment in natural grass environment.
