T routes to making biofuels are perhaps best exemplified by the production of fuels from lignocellulose biomass — sources of which include agricultural and forestry residues (such as wheat stalks and wood), municipal waste (paper and wood) and specially grown crops (such as Miscanthus grasses and poplar trees).
