NTZ (nitazoxanide) has been used as a treatment for cryptosporidiosis, a parasitic infection traced to contaminated drinking water supplies. UNIMED Pharmaceuticals is conducting a compassionate access program in Mexico. The program is limited to thirty participants who meet strict participation requirements.
