The solution structure of two homologous naturally occurring antimicrobial peptides, rabbit defensin NP-2 and human defensin HNP-1, have been determined by two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, distance geometry, and restrained molecular dynamics calculations.
