Golden germander (Teucrium polium L.) is a Mediterranean shrub of the Labiatae family, used in traditional medicine for its diuretic, antipyretic, diaphoretic, antispasmodic, tonic, anti-inflammatory, antihypertensive, anorexic, analgesic, antibacterial and antidiabetic effects.
