The medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) and the dorsal hippocampus (DHC) play significant roles in stimulant-induced neurobehavioral effects. Methamphetamine (MAP)-induced hyperactivity has been reported to be involved in the regulation of the glutamatergic system.
