A bstractA consistent framework for studying Standard Model deviations is developed. It assumes that New Physics becomes relevant at some scale beyond the present experimental reach and uses the Effective Field Theory approach by adding higher-dimensional operators to the Standard Model Lagrangian and by computing relevant processes at the next-to-leading order, extending the original κ -framework. The generalized κ -framework provides a useful technical tool to decompose amplitudes at NLO…
Effective field theories and pseudo-observables in the quest for physics beyond the Standard Model
We discuss briefly the kappa framework, proposed originally as a test for the Higgs couplings of the Standard Model (SM). Further, we discuss a generalization of this idea in terms of effective field
NLO Standard model effective field theory for Higgs and EW precision data
A set of constructs, definitions, and propositions that present a systematic view of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT), i.e. how the influence of higher energy processes is
Renormalization group constraints on new top interactions from electroweak precision data
A bstractAnomalous interactions involving the top quark contribute to some of the most difficult observables to directly access experimentally. They can give however a sizeable correction to very
Higgs Decay to Two Photons at One Loop in the Standard Model Effective Field Theory.
We present the calculation of the CP conserving contributions to Γ(h→γγ), from dimension six operators at one-loop order, in the linear standard model effective field theory. We discuss the impact of
Electroweak and QCD corrections to Z and W pole observables in the standard model EFT
We compute the next-to-leading order QCD and electroweak corrections to $Z$ and $W$ pole observables using the dimension-6 Standard Model effective field theory and present numerical results that can
One loop verification of SMEFT Ward Identities
TLDR
The results presented lay the foundation of next to leading order automatic generation of results in the SMEFT, in both the perturbative and non-perturbative expansion using the geoSMEFT formalism, and background field gauge.
The decay h → γγ in the Standard-Model Effective Field Theory
A bstractAssuming that new physics effects are parametrized by the Standard-Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) written in a complete basis of up to dimension-6 operators, we calculate the
New Physics Through Drell Yan SMEFT Measurements at NLO
Drell Yan production is a sensitive probe of new physics and as such has been calculated to high order in both the electroweak and QCD sectors of the Standard Model, allowing for precision
Automated one-loop computations in the SMEFT
We present the automation of one-loop computations in the standard-model effective field theory at dimension six. Our implementation, dubbed SMEFT@NLO, contains ultraviolet and rational counterterms

I discuss recent progress on fits to dimension-six operators in the Standard Model Effective Theory (SMEFT). I focus on the top quark sector of the SMEFT, as well as the theoretical advances made in

An effective guide to beyond the Standard Model physics
A bstractEffective Lagrangians with dimension-six operators are widely used to analyse Higgs and other electroweak data. We show how to build a basis of operators such that each operator is linked to
