N = 1 supergravity on the light-cone superspace

Abstract The action of N = 1 supergravity in the light-cone gauge is explicitly expressed in terms of an unconstrained light-cone superfield which contains the physical components of fields only. The superspace action is manifestly invariant under the kinematic supertransformations which consist of a part of the gauge preserving transformations. Our procedure is based entirely on the component formalism and the generalization to extended supergravities is straightforward.
