Abstract We study the N = 4 harmonic superparticle model, both with and without central charge and quantize it. Since the central charge breaks the U ( 4 ) R-symmetry group of the N = 4 superalgebra down to USp ( 4 ) , we consider the superparticle dynamics in N = 4 harmonic superspace with USp ( 4 ) / ( U ( 1 ) × U ( 1 ) ) harmonic variables. We show that the quantization of a massive superparticle with central charge leads to a superfield realization of the N = 4 massive vector multiplet in N…
SU(4) harmonic superspace and supersymmetric gauge theory
We consider the harmonic superspace formalism in N=4 supersymmetry based on SU(4)/SU(2)×SU(2)×U(1) harmonics, which was previously used in Abelian gauge theory. We propose a transformation of
The low-energy $N = 4$ SYM effective action in diverse harmonic superspaces
We review various superspace approaches to the description of the low-energy effective action in N = 4 super Yang–Mills (SYM) theory. We consider the four-derivative part of the low-energy effective
Towards harmonic superfield formulation of N=4, USp(4) SYM theory with the central charge
Abstract We develop a superfield formulation of N = 4 supersymmetric Yang–Mills theory with the rigid central charge in USp ( 4 ) harmonic superspace. The component formulation of this theory was
An analytic superfield formalism for tree superamplitudes in D=10 and D=11
A bstractTree amplitudes of 10D supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory (SYM) and 11D supergravity (SUGRA) are collected in multi-particle counterparts of analytic on-shell superfields. These have

Bi-harmonic superspace for $ \mathcal{N} = 4 $d = 4 super Yang-Mills
We develop $ \mathcal{N} = 4 $d = 4 bi-harmonic superspace and use it to derive a novel form for the low-energy effective action in $ \mathcal{N} = 4 $ super Yang-Mills theory. We solve the $
Wess-Zumino term in the $ \mathcal{N} = 4 $ SYM effective action revisited
The low-energy effective action for the $ \mathcal{N} = 4 $ super Yang-Mills on the Coulomb branch is known to include an SO(6)-invariant Wess-Zumino (WZ) term for the six scalar fields. For each
Non-Abelian tensor towers and (2,0) superconformal theories
A bstractWith the aim to study six-dimensional (2, 0) superconformal theories with non-Abelian tensor multiplets we propose a five-dimensional superconformal action with eight supersymmetries for an
First-quantized N=4 Yang-Mills
We present simple first-class-constraint actions and BRST operators for the 4D N=4 superparticle in terms of a super anti-de Sitter coset. Each generation of ghosts has 2 super-indices, like the
N = 4 SYM low-energy effective action in N = 4 harmonic superspace
We apply the N = 4 harmonic superspace with USp(4) harmonic variables for describing the N = 4 SYM low-energy effective action. Scale invariance and gauge symmetry fix the leading term in the

N=3 superparticle model
Abstract We consider the formulation and quantization of the N = 3 superparticle model, both with and without central charge. Without the central charge the action possesses U ( 3 ) invariance and
Chern-Simons D = 3, N = 6 superfield theory
Abstract We construct the D = 3 , N = 5 harmonic superspace using the SO ( 5 ) / U ( 1 ) × U ( 1 ) harmonics. Three gauge harmonic superfields satisfy the off-shell constraints of the Grassmann and
CORRIGENDUM: Unconstrained N = 2 matter, Yang-Mills and supergravity theories in harmonic superspace
A new approach to N=2 supersymmetry based on the concept of harmonic superspace is proposed and is used to give an unconstrained superfield geometric description of N=2 super Yang-Mills and

Abstract The N = 2 supersymmetric particle is studied and the consistent couplings to external N = 2 super-Yang-Mills and N = 2 supergravity theories are given. The consistency conditions result in a
On N=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills in harmonic superspace
The authors present an analysis of N=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory using a construction involving additional bosonic variables in the coset space SU(4)/H. No choice of H can be shown to lead to
Chern-simons theory in the SO(5)/U(2) harmonic superspace
We consider the superspace of D=3, N=5 supersymmetry using SO(5)/U(2) harmonic coordinates. Three analytic N=5 gauge superfields depend on three vector and six harmonic bosonic coordinates and also
