OBJECTIVES This study examined the external and internal exposure to the solvent N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) of 126 workers from a factory producing synthetic fibers. METHODS Air measurements were carried out using personal air samplers with diffusion tubes (Drager, ORSA 5).
