  • Dear Sirs: I read with interest the recent case reports concerning an adverse interaction between phenelzine and L-tryptophan ("Myoclonus, hyperreflexia and diaphoresis in patients on phenelzine tryptophan combination treatment"; October, 1985). I have recently encountered a similar adverse interaction.
