Compatibility between Eucalyptus dunnii and the ectomycorrhizal fungi Hysterangium gardneri and Pisolithus sp. - from Eucalyptus spp. -, Rhizopogon nigrescens and Suillus cothurnatus - from Pinus spp.-, was studied in vitro. Pisolithus sp., H. gardneri and S. cothurnatus colonized the roots. Pisolithus sp. mycorrhizas presented mantle and Hartig net, while H. gardneri and S. cothurnatus mycorrhizas presented only mantle. S. cothurnatus increased phenolics level on roots. Pisolithus sp. and R…

Effect of mycorrhizal fungi on growth of Zea mays L. Plants
TLDR
The present study had helped to boundaring the knowledge about VAM in relation to ecological and physiological aspects which could help in developing suitable applications to improved growth of certain oil yielding crop plants in Sandy loam soil.
Efeito do cobre na população de bactérias e fungos do solo, na associação micorrízica e no cultivo de mudas de Eucalyptus grandis W. Hill ex Maiden, Pinus elliottii Engelm e Peltophorum dubium (Sprengel) Taubert
TLDR
Soil bacteria and fungus population were altered by the presence of copper and the eucalyptus and pinus seedlings were not affected by copper addition, while canafistula was able to form an ectomycorrhizal association with the isolate tested.
Location, but not defensive genotype, determines ectomycorrhizal community composition in Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) seedlings
TLDR
It is found that while EM community composition varies within Scotland at both large and small scales, variation in constitutive defensive compounds does not determine the EM communities of closely cohabiting pine seedlings, and the case for selection on traits mediating associations with specific fungal species may be overstated.
The Ectomycorrhizal Symbiosis in South America: Morphology, Colonization, and Diversity
TLDR
The range of Angiospermae and Gymnos permae forests growing in South America in which ECM studies have been carried is summarized and the associated fungi recorded in the ECM anatomotypes reviewed were mostly Basidiomycota with most anatomotype described for native species.
Ectomicorrizas em Grápia [ Apuleia leiocarpa (Vogel) J.F. Macbride] e canafístula [ Peltophorum dubium (Sprengel) Taubert] in vitro
TLDR
Ectomycorrhizas were observed in Apuleia leiocarpa seedlings inoculated with the isolate UFSM RA 2.8 ( Suillus sp.).
Effects of heavy metal (Pb) on arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in vitro
TLDR
When subjected to dual physiological stress, mycorrhizal Ri-TDNA-transformed roots growing on Pb-enriched medium, the total phenol content increased in the roots and exudation into the medium decreased.
Effects of soil type, fertilization and drought on carbon allocation to root growth and partitioning between secondary metabolism and ectomycorrhizae of Betula papyrifera.
TLDR
It is shown that soil fertility mediates carbon tradeoffs among defense, growth and EM associations and was negatively correlated with root soluble sugars, root phenolics and lignin, but this was driven mainly by the responses in the topsoil treatment.

INFLUÊNCIA DE ECTOMICORRIZAS NO CRESCIMENTO DE MUDAS DE Eucalyptus grandis, Corymbia citriodora, Eucalyptus saligna E Eucalyptus dunnii
TLDR
O isolado ectomicorrízico UFSC-132 proporciona maior crescimento de mudas de Eucalyptus dunnii e Corymbia citriodora em relação à testemunha sem inoculação.

ECTOMYCORRHIZAL ASSOCIATIONS OF AUSTRALIAN INDIGENOUS PLANTS
TLDR
Besides species of Eucalyptus, Leptospermum, Casuarina and Pomaderris, many other Australian native plants may form ectomycorrhizal associations, which range from large forest trees to small non-woody herbs.
