Musashi-1 (Msi-1) is proposed to be a marker of progenitor cells in the human gastric mucosa. We examined Msi-1 expression and localization in surgical specimens of gastric cancer in young patients using immunohistochemistry and tested associations of Msi-1 expression with clinicopathological features.
