A new scheduling algorithm to serve more than one user simultaneously using a system which combines space time block coding and beamforming in the downlink transmission is proposed. The proposed algorithm uses channel conditions and information on the spatial distribution of the users based on their direction of arrival (DoA) to prioritize them for service.
