In computational quantum steel design of CyberSteel 2020, we need to combine material science, quantum physics, and continuum mechanics with multiscale analysis. In this talk, we first give a brief review of experimental results of macroscopic observations, micro-scale voids, sub-micron scale recrystallization, and nano-scale dislocations and twins.
