For the design of complex digital signal processing systems, that require exibility given by software implementations on programmable target architectures, state of the art design and automation tools must provide means for multiprocessor system development support. In this paper we describe the capabilities of synthesizing code for multiprocessor architectures with the COSSAP/DESCARTES code generator.
