Multiple visceral aneurysms complicating periarteritis nodosa are considered characteristic, though not pathognomonic, on arteriography. This arteriographic pattern has been described with hairy-cell leukemia, collagen vascular disorders, and atrial myxoma, but, to our knowledge, has not been previously reported with subacute bacterial endocarditis.
