Recently the concept of quantum information has been introduced into game theory. Here we present the first study of quantum games with more than two players. We discover that such games can possess an alternative form of equilibrium strategy, one which has no analog either in traditional games or even in two-player quantum games. In these ``coherent'' equilibria, entanglement shared among multiple players enables different kinds of cooperative behavior: indeed it can act as a contract, in the…

The results for stochastic learning strategies, both classical and quantum, for optimizing the available many-choice resources among a large number of competing agents, developed over the last decade in the context of the Kolkata Paise Restaurant (KPR) Problem are reviewed.

### Noisy three-player dilemma game: robustness of the quantum advantage

- PhysicsQuantum Inf. Process.

This work studies a practical realization of the three-player dilemma game using the superconductivity-based quantum processors provided by IBM Q Experience and finds that the classical strategy will always outperform the quantum strategy if corruption is higher than 50%.

It is shown that the entangled state cannot be used by players for communicating information, but that in certain games it can be used for improving coordination of actions.

### REDUCED ENTANGLEMENT FOR QUANTUM GAMES

- Economics, Physics
- 2003

This work examines some quantum versions of social dilemma games and shows their use of entanglement can be substantially reduced by randomly replacing some of the entangled states by unentangled ones, and identifies a unique Nash equilibrium invariant with respect to the amount of this replacement.
