This paper proposes a multiobjective evolution programming method for distribution feeder reconfiguration in a practical system. The multiple objectives are minimizing power losses, ensuring voltage quality, service reliability assurance, and minimizing switching operations. Generally, the attributes of the above four objectives are not the same and operators' judgment must be involved in trading off between these objectives.
