Multifocal uptake of Tc-99m mebrofenin in dilated liver ductules in a patient with cystic fibrosis.


A patient with cystic fibrosis and a previous cholecystectomy, underwent Tc-99m mebrofenin scintigraphy to rule out hepatobiliary disease. The scan revealed multiple focal collections of radiopharmaceutical within the liver parenchyma.
