We present the results of U-band and multicolor photometry during the 2001 superoutburst of WZ Sge. Our 10 nights of U-band photometry span the time interval from HJD 2,452,118 to 2,452,197, while our multicolor observations range from HJD 2,452,115 to 2,452,197. The U-band light curves are generally in agreement with other data sets obtained during the superoutburst, showing highly modulated light early on, rebrightenings, and superhumps of similar shape and period (except during the…

Observations of 2001 superoutburst of WZ Sagittae: comparison of the morphology of the UBVRI light curves
We present the analysis of the morphology of the light curves of WZ Sge based on simultaneous multicolour highspeed photometry durings the superoutburst in 2001. Observations started around the
OAO/MITSuME photometry of dwarf novae. III. CSS130418:174033+414756
We report on multicolour photometry of the short period dwarf nova CSS130418:174033+414756 during the 2013 superoutburst. The system showed an unusually short superhump period with 0.046346(67) d
Discovery of a WZ Sge-Type Dwarf Nova, SDSS J102146.44+234926.3: Unprecedented Infrared Activity during a Rebrightening Phase
Several SU UMa-type dwarf novae and WZ Sge-type stars tend to exhibit rebrightenings after superoutbursts. The rebrightening phenomenon is problematic for the disk instability theory of dwarf novae,
WZ Sge-Type Dwarf Novae
We have summarized the current understanding and recently obtained findings about WZ Sge-type dwarf novae. We also reviewed the historical development of the understanding of these objects, provided

In this 14th edition of ApXX, 1 we bring you the Sun (§ 2) and Stars (§ 4), the Moon and Planets (§ 3), a truly binary pulsar (§ 5), a kinematic apology (§ 6), the whole universe (§§ 7 and 8),
AT 2020iko: A WZ Sge-type Dwarf Nova Candidate with an Anomalous Precursor Event
The ongoing Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) survey is generating a massive alert rate from a variety of optical transients and variable stars, which are being filtered down to subsets meeting

Multiwavelength Superoutburst Observations of T Leonis
We present results of simultaneous superoutburst observations in the X-ray, EUV, optical, and IR bands of the tremendous outburst amplitude dwarf novae T Leonis. Near peak luminosity, a single
Measuring the Boundary Layer and Inner Accretion Disk Temperatures for WX Ceti During Superoutburst
We obtained EUV photometry, optical spectroscopy, and multicolor optical photometry for WX Cet during its 1998 November superoutburst. WX Cet is only the second short-period, low mass transfer
Investigating the structure of the accretion disc in WZ Sge from multiwaveband time-resolved spectroscopic observations – II
We present our second paper describing multiwaveband time-resolved spectroscopy of WZ Sge. We analyse the evolution of both optical and IR emission lines throughout the orbital period and find
AN ASTROMETRIC CALIBRATION OF THE MV-PORB RELATIONSHIP FOR CATACLYSMIC VARIABLES BASED ON HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE FINE GUIDANCE SENSOR PARALLAXES
We present new, high-precision astrometric parallaxes for three cataclysmic variables: WZ Saggitae, YZ Cancri, and RU Pegasi, obtained using the Fine Guidance Sensors on the Hubble Space Telescope.
The Relative Contributions to the Near-Infrared Emission in Short-Period Cataclysmic Variables
We present phase-resolved near-infrared broadband photometry of four short-period cataclysmic variables (HU Aqr, WZ Sge, TY Psc, and V592 Cas). Coupled with ultraviolet and optical data obtained from
KECK INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY OF WZ SAGITTAE: DETECTION OF MOLECULAR EMISSION FROM THE ACCRETION DISK
Time-resolved IR spectroscopy of WZ Sge was obtained using NIRSPEC on Keck II. We detect CO and H2 emission from the accretion disk, placing WZ Sge in a rarefied class of astronomical objects
SXTs and TOADs, close encounters of the same kind
We show that, apart from having in common long intervals between large-amplitude outbursts (without intervening normal outbursts), soft X-ray transients (SXTs) and "tremendous outburst amplitude
Rapid oscillations in cataclysmic variables. IV. WZ Sagittae.
An extensive study of the rapid coherent oscillations in the light curve of the dwarf nova WZ Sagittae is presented. Data in 1978 show conclusively that the 27.87 s oscillation is a clock of high
Tremendous outburst amplitude dwarf novae
For many years, observers have noted the existence of a number of tremendous outburst amplitude dwarf novae. We present a summary of the known observational parameters for these exceptional systems.
CCD ENSEMBLE PHOTOMETRY ON AN INHOMOGENEOUS SET OF EXPOSURES
A method is described to perform ensemble stellar photometry on a series of CCD images for which the number and identity of the comparison stars vary throughout the set of exposures. The technique is
