OBJECTIVES To study the efficacy and safety of trospium chloride in treating overactive bladder. Trospium chloride is an anticholinergic agent with predominantly peripheral nonselective antimuscarinic activity and thus has potential therapeutic value in treating patients with overactive bladder.
