Multi-wavelength laser emission in dye-doped photonic liquid crystals.

Abstract

Multi-wavelength lasing in a dye-doped cholesteric liquid crystal (CLC) cell is demonstrated. By adding oversaturated chiral dopant, the multi-photonic band CLC structure can be obtained with non-uniform chiral solubility.
