This paper presents a new structure for adaptive predistortion of the memoryless, nonlinear saturation effects causedby High Power Amplifiers (HPA). Timely compensation for HPA distortions is critical for cost-effective prevention of the cliff effect during terrestrial transmission of digital broadcast television.
