The multi-peak solitons and their stability are investigated for the nonlocal nonlinear system with the sine-oscillation response, including both the cases of positive and negative Kerr coefficients. The Hermite-Gaussian-type multi-peak solitons and the ranges of the degree of nonlocality within which the solitons exist are analytically obtained by the variational approach. This is the first time, to our knowledge at least, to discuss the solution existence range of the multi-peak solitons… Expand

Spatial solitons with complicated structure in nonlocal nonlinear media.
The way how to obtain a set of the soliton solutions from one numerical soliton solution via the transform invariance of the nonlocal nonlinear Schrödinger equation and the nonlinear Schroedinger equation is discussed. Expand
Large phase shift of nonlocal optical spatial solitons.
A different approximate model to the NNLSE is presented for the strongly nonlocal media with arbitrary response functions, and an exact analytical solution of the model is obtained, and a spatial soliton is found to exist. Expand
Stability of multipole-mode solitons in thermal nonlinear media
We study the stability of multipole-mode solitons in one-dimensional thermal nonlinear media. We show how the sample geometry impacts the stability of multipole-mode solitons and reveals that theExpand

Stability of two-dimensional spatial solitons in nonlocal nonlinear media.
It is demonstrated that two-dimensional solitons in media with spatially nonlocal nonlinear response systems, which include thermal nonlinearity and dipolar Bose-Einstein condensates, may support a variety of stationary localized structures, including rotating dipolesolitons. Expand
