We consider the self-dual Yang–Mills equations in seven dimensions. Modifying the t’Hooft construction of instantons in d=4, we find N-instanton 7d solutions which depend on 8N effective parameters and are E6 invariant.

Yang-Mills like instantons in eight and seven dimensions
We consider a gauge theory in which a nonassociative Moufang loop takes the place of a structure group. We construct Belavin-Polyakov-Schwartz-Tyupkin (BPST) and t’Hooft like instanton solutions ofExpand
Multi-Instantons in Higher Dimensions and Superstring Solitons
We construct octonionic multi-instantons for the eight and seven dimensional Yang-Mills theory. Extended soliton solutions to the low-energy heterotic field theory equa- tions of motion areExpand
On a construction of self-dual gauge fields in seven dimensions
We consider gauge fields associated with a semisimple Malcev algebra. We construct a gauge-invariant Lagrangian and found a solution of modified Yang-Mills equations in seven dimensions.

Classification of BPS equations in higher dimensions
We systematically classify all possible Bogomol'nyi-Prasad-Sommerfield (BPS) equations in Euclidean dimension $d\ensuremath{\le}8$. We discuss symmetries of BPS equations and their connection withExpand

Exotic Instantons in Eight Dimensions
In this paper, we study the (anti-)self-duality equations ∗F ∧ F = ±F ∧F in the eight-dimensional Euclidean space. Using properties of the Clifford algebra Cl0,8(R), we find a new solution to theseExpand

Construction of multi-instantons in eight dimensions
Abstract We consider an eight-dimensional local octonionic theory with the seven-sphere playing the role of the gauge group. Duality conditions for two- and four-forms in eight dimensions areExpand
Self-dual Yang–Mills fields in pseudo-Euclidean spaces
The self-duality Yang–Mills equations in pseudo-Euclidean spaces of dimensions d ≤ 8 are investigated. New classes of solutions of the equations are found. Extended solutions to the D = 10, N = 1Expand
Pseudoparticle Solutions of the Yang-Mills Equations
We find regular solutions of the four dimensional euclidean Yang-Mills equations. The solutions minimize locally the action integrals which is finite in this case. The topological nature of theExpand
The Octonionic Instanton
Abstract The existence of self-dual instanton solutions of d = 4 Yang-Mills theories is related to the fact that the action can be expressed as the square of the self-dual field E + B . In thisExpand
Some comments on the ADHM construction in 4k dimensions
A class of completely solvable gauge field equations is investigated. These equations are shown to be closely analogous to the four-dimensional self-duality equations. A similar geometricalExpand
Supergravity in theory in 11 dimensions
We present the action and transformation laws of supergravity in 11 dimensions which is expected to be closely related to the O(8) theory in 4 dimensions after dimensional reduction.
Octonionic superstring solitons.
An extended-soliton solution to the low-energy heterotic-field-theory equations of motion is constructed from an eight-dimensional octonionic instanton. The soliton describes a string inExpand
Seven-dimensional octonionic Yang-Mills instanton and its extension to an heterotic string soliton
Abstract We construct an octonionic instanton solution to the seven-dimensional Yang-Mills theory based on the exceptional gauge group G2 which is the automorphism group of the division algebra ofExpand
A new six-dimensional approach to the Weinberg-Salam model
Abstract The bosonic sector of the Weinberg-Salam model is derived from a 6-dimensional Yang-Mills theory by imposing rotational symmetry in the extra, compact dimensions. The Weinberg angle and theExpand
Analytic loops and gauge fields
Abstract In this paper the linear representations of analytic Moufang loops are investigated. We prove that every representation of semisimple analytic Moufang loop is completely reducible and findExpand
