Precise and frequent photometric follow-up studies of transit light curves are indispensable when accurately characterizing extrasolar planets. We present new multi-wavelength photometry of three transiting "Hot Jupiters", TrES-3b, WASP-2b and HAT-P-30b (WASP-51b). Data were acquired from an 0.8 meter telescope at Tarleton State University. When combined with literature data, allowed us to redetermine system parameters in a corresponding way. We developed GCX reduction pipeline and TAP…

Characterizing transiting extrasolar planets with narrow-band photometry and GTC/OSIRIS

We report the first extrasolar planet observations from the 10.4-m Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC), currently the world's largest, fully steerable, single-aperture optical telescope. We used the

SYSTEM PARAMETERS, TRANSIT TIMES, AND SECONDARY ECLIPSE CONSTRAINTS OF THE EXOPLANET SYSTEMS HAT-P-4, TrES-2, TrES-3, and WASP-3 FROM THE NASA EPOXI MISSION OF OPPORTUNITY

As part of the NASA EPOXI Mission of Opportunity, we observed seven known transiting extrasolar planet systems in order to construct time series photometry of extremely high phase coverage and

Photometric follow-up of the transiting planetary system TrES-3: transit timing variation and long-term stability of the system

We present new observations of the transiting system TrES-3 obtained from 2009 to 2011 at several observatories. The orbital parameters of the system were re- determined and a new linear ephemeris

Near-UV and optical observations of the transiting exoplanet TrES-3b

We observed nine primary transits of the hot Jupiter TrES-3b in several optical and near-UV photometric bands from 2009 June to 2012 April in an attempt to detect its magnetic field. Vidotto, Jardine

PRECISE RADIUS ESTIMATES FOR THE EXOPLANETS WASP-1b AND WASP-2b

We present precise z-band photometric time series spanning times of transit of the two exoplanets recently discovered by the SuperWASP collaboration. We find planetary radii of 1.44 ± 0.08 and 1.04 ±

Physical properties of the HAT-P-23 and WASP-48 planetary systems from multi-colour photometry

Accurate and repeated photometric follow-up observations of planetary-transit events are important to precisely characterize the physical properties of exoplanets. A good knowledge of the main

TrES-3: A Nearby, Massive, Transiting Hot Jupiter in a 31 Hour Orbit

We describe the discovery of a massive transiting hot Jupiter with a very short orbital period (1.30619 days), which we name TrES-3. From spectroscopy of the host star GSC 03089-00929, we measure

A TRANSIT TIMING ANALYSIS OF NINE RISE LIGHT CURVES OF THE EXOPLANET SYSTEM TrES-3

We present nine newly observed transits of TrES-3, taken as part of a transit timing program using the RISE instrument on the Liverpool Telescope. A Markov-Chain Monte Carlo analysis was used to

A NEW SPECTROSCOPIC AND PHOTOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF THE TRANSITING PLANET SYSTEMS TrES-3 AND TrES-4

We report new spectroscopic and photometric observations of the parent stars of the recently discovered transiting planets TrES-3 and TrES-4. A detailed abundance analysis based on high-resolution

Extrasolar Planet Transits Observed at Kitt Peak National Observatory

We obtained J-, H-, and JH-band photometry of known extrasolar planet transiting systems at the 2.1 m Kitt Peak National Observatory Telescope using the FLAMINGOS infrared camera between 2008 October
