  • We researched the theory of and applications of multi junction photovoltaic cells. In the past few decades, these devices have come a long way, both in efficiency, and cost. They have been sent to space and have started to be used in terrestrial applications. Multijunction cells are increasing in popularity because of the high efficiency that can be obtained by using multijunction cells as opposed to single cells.
