In order to assist federal and state decision makers, the Applied Research and Technical Support Branch (ARTSB) of the Ground Water and Ecosystems Restoration Division (GWERD) has, since 1989, developed a series of over 30 Ground Water Issue Papers intended to be brief, state-of-science documents focused on a technical issue of expressed interest and prepared in a concise and readable format.
