Abstract Three species of belonid fish, Belone belone gracilis Lowe, 1839, Belone svetovidovi Collette & Parin, 1970 and Tylosurus acus imperialis (Rafinesque, 1810), caught off the eastern Tunisian coast were infected with eight species of Digenea. Among these, four species were commonly found in B. b. gracilis and are new host records for B. svetovidovi. They are: Lecithostaphylus retroflexus (Molin, 1859), Tergestia acanthocephala (Stossich, 1887) Stossich, 1899 and Aponurus laguncula Looss…

Digenetic trematodes of Indian marine fishes are studied in detail in order to establish an understanding of their structure and purpose in the marine environment.

Descriptions of some unusual digeneans from Boops boops L. (Sparidae) and a complete checklist of its metazoan parasites
B. boops is a new host for 11 metazoan parasites (six digeneans, three acanthocephalans, one copepod and one isopod) recovered in this study.
Parasite communities and diet of Coris Batuensis (Pisces Labridae) from Lizard Island, Great Barrier Reef
Composition, abundance and species richness of the parasite fauna were similar in hosts with different body weight, corresponding with C. batuensis having a similar diet throughout life.

A new cryptic species of Aponurus Looss, 1907 (Digenea: Lecithasteridae) from Mediterranean goatfish (Teleostei: Mullidae)
The status of the trematode Aponurus laguncula Looss, 1907 in the western Mediterranean is re-assessed by means of a comparative morphological study and rDNA sequences based on newly collected
Parasites of the dolphinfish (Coryphaena hippurus) in Puerto Rico
Thirteen dolphinfish collected during 1993-1994 from La Parguera, Puerto Rico, were examined for parasites and the most common helminths found were D. barbatus, H. pelagicuni, and Tetrochetus coryphaenae, with prevalences of 100, 92, and 62%, respectively.

Four species of digeneans parasitic in the bogue Boops boops from the Spanish coast of the NE Atlantic are described. All are new records for this host, but one species is new and the other three are
