Five known and one new species of Leptolaimoidea viz. Dagda bipapillata , Deontolaimus papillatus , Leptolaimus mixtus , Paraplectonema loofi sp. n., Rhadinema flexile and Stephanolaimus elegans are described on the basis of new material from Europe and the Americas. Dagda bipapillata is studied by SEM for the first time. Paraplectonema loofi sp. n. is described from Costa Rica and differs from all other species of the genus by the position of excretory pore on lip region. Leptolaimus…

Swedish Plectida (Nematoda). Part 8. The genus Onchium Cobb, 1920.

Four known and one new species of Onchium are described from bottom sediments collected in Skagerrak off the west coast of Sweden and the diagnosis of the genus OnChium is emended and a tabular compendium and dichotomous identification key to species are provided.

Swedish Plectida (Nematoda). Part 5. Rhadinema timmi (Vitiello, 1971) comb. n.

The main diagnostic characters of Rhadinema timmi (Vitiello, 1971) comb are redescribed from bottom sediments collected in the Skagerrak off the west coast of Sweden.

Free-living nematodes from a colonisation experiment in the upwelling area of Arraial do Cabo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: Lavareda decraemerae gen. n., sp n. and emended diagnosis of Cricolaimus Southern, 1914 (Plectida: Rhadinematidae)

Re-examination of C. elongatus revealed clear differences to the new species, the former having a radial symmetry with low lips with inner and outer labial papillae indistinct and a cheilostom with a cuticularised ring with six anteriorly directed projections, thereby justifying the proposal of Lavareda gen. n.

Two new species of the genus Deontolaimus de Man, 1880 (Nematoda: Leptolaimidae) from mangrove ecosystems of Vietnam.

Two new species of the free-living marine nematode genus Deontolaimus (Leptolaimidae) are described from mangrove forests of the Can Gio Biosphere Reserve and Tien Yen, Quang Ninh, Vietnam. D.

Free-living nematodes from nature reserves in Costa Rica Genera Egtitus Thorne, 1967 and Trachypleurosum Andrássy, 1959 (Dorylaimida: Actinolaimidae)

In the Appendix five genera and forty-two species of free-living nematodes described as new to science from Costa Rica are listed.
