Abstract Paractinolaimus sahandi n. sp., found in wet soil samples collected from the rhizosphere of grasses of Sahand Mountains, Iran, is described. This new species is characterized by its long body (3.5–4.7 mm), high a value (74.5–88.5), anterior location of posterior subventral nuclei, occupying 62.5–68.0% of glandularium distance, the presence of 1–4 pre- and 1–3 post-vulval papillae and numerous tiny, not innervated papillae in front and behind the vulva in the outer layer of cuticle…
Calcaridorylaimus castaneae sp. n. (Nematoda, Dorylaimidae) from Bulgaria with an identification key to the species of the genus
TLDR
Phylogenetic analyses performed on 18S and D2-D3 expansion domains of 28S rRNA genes by Neighbor-Joining, Maximum Likelihood and Bayesian Inference methods showed closest relationships of the new species with some species belonging to the genus Mesodorylaimus, but insufficient molecular data for members of both genera do not allow the phylogenetic relationships to be elucidated.
Morphological and molecular characterisation of Californian species of Metaporcelaimus Lordello, 1965 (Dorylaimida, Aporcelaimidae), with a new concept of the genus
TLDR
Molecular data and the derived evolutionary tree show that Metaporcelaimus and Aporcelaimellus do not share a recent common ancestor and a new concept is proposed for Metapor Celaimus, M. ahmadi sp.
Biogeography and phylogenetic position of Enchodeloides signyensis (Loof, 1975), gen. n., comb. n. from Maritime Antarctic (Nematoda, Nordiidae)
TLDR
Both the 18S and 28S rDNA-based phylogenetic trees of the Enchodelus sequences available in the GenBank formed two distinct clusters with E. signyensis being a part of a well-supported group with species of the genus Pungentus; therefore, it is proposed that its taxonomic position should be reconsidered.
New data on two remarkable Antarctic species Amblydorylaimus isokaryon (Loof, 1975) Andrássy, 1998 and Pararhyssocolpus paradoxus (Loof, 1975), gen. n., comb. n. (Nematoda, Dorylaimida)
TLDR
The phylogram inferred from 28S sequences revealed that Amblydorylaimus isokaryon is a member of a well-supported group comprised of several Aporcelaimellus spp.
Description of a new species of Paractinolaimus Meyl, 1957 (Dorylaimida: Nematoda) and a compendium of ali the nominal species of the genus
TLDR
The new species, among the numerous species of Paractinolaimus described so far, has a unique female tail shape: instead of the usual convex conoid initial part followed by a more or less elongated slender part, it shows a quite short, Eudorylaimus-like conoid tail.

Phylogenetic Analyses of Meloidogyne Small Subunit rDNA.
TLDR
The results show that SSU sequence data are useful in addressing deeper phylogeny within Meloidogyne, and that both M. ichinohei and M. artiellia are credible outgroups for phylogenetic analysis of speciations among the major species.
Phylogenetic relationships of Nygolaimina and Dorylaimina (Nematoda: Dorylaimida) inferred from small subunit ribosomal DNA sequences
TLDR
Phylogenetic reconstructions based on 18S rDNA sequence data indicate that Dorylaimida is a monophyletic lineage, but that there is a deep division within Nygolaimina, giving rise to the possibility that Nygollaimina is paraphyletic.

Molecular barcodes for soil nematode identification
TLDR
A molecular barcode derived from single‐specimen polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and sequencing of the 5′ segment of the small subunit ribosomal RNA (SSU) gene is developed, which allows a rapid assessment of nematode taxon diversity in soils.

TLDR
Microdissected sections of nematodes were removed from specimens fixed in formalin, using standard protocols and without destroying morphological features, and provided sufficient template for multiple polymerase chain reaction-based DNA sequence analyses.
