We report an experimental study on the structural (especially radial) heterogeneity of eleven 100 μm i.d. capillary tetramethoxysilane-methyltrimethoxysilane hybrid silica monoliths with different pore and skeleton sizes, which were imaged by an optimized confocal laser scanning microscopy method.
