The morphogenesis of Strombidium suledtum Claparcde et Lachmann, 1858 (Ciliophora, Oligolrichida) occurring in a eutrophie mollusca-culluring pond off Qingdao coast was investigated through prolargol impregnation. The results confirm that the mode of stomatogcnesis is cnantrotropic, i.e proter and opisthe are connected by their posterior portions and are 180 inverted during some divisional stages.
