A condition for reversibility (sufficiency) of a channel with respect to a given countable family of states with bounded rank is obtained. This condition shows that a quantum channel preserving the Holevo quantity of at least one (discrete or continuous) ensemble of states with rank $\leq r$ has the r-partially entanglement-breaking complementary channel. Several applications of this result are considered. In particular, it is shown that coincidence of the constrained Holevo capacity and the… Expand
Reversibility conditions for quantum channels and their applications
A necessary condition for reversibility (sufficiency) of a quantum channel with respect to complete families of states with bounded rank is obtained. A full description (up to isometricalExpand
REVERSIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR QUANTUM OPERATIONS
We give a list of equivalent conditions for reversibility of the adjoint of a unital Schwarz map, with respect to a set of quantum states. A large class of such conditions is given by preservation ofExpand

A definition of the Schmidt number of a state of an infinite dimensional bipartite quantum system is given and properties of the corresponding family of Schmidt classes are considered. The existenceExpand
Критерии равенства в двух энтропийных неравенствах@@@Criteria for equality in two entropic inequalities
A simple criterion for local equality between the constrained Holevo capacity and the quantum mutual information of a quantum channel is obtained. It implies that the set of all states for which thisExpand

Structure of States Which Satisfy Strong Subadditivity of Quantum Entropy with Equality
We give an explicit characterisation of the quantum states which saturate the strong subadditivity inequality for the von Neumann entropy. By combining a result of Petz characterising the equalityExpand

Continuous Ensembles and the Capacity of Infinite-Dimensional Quantum Channels
This paper is devoted to the study of $\chi$-capacity, closely related to the classical capacity of infinite-dimensional quantum channels. For such channels generalized ensembles are defined asExpand
Inequalities for quantum entropy: A review with conditions for equality

Complementary Channels and the Additivity Problem
We explore the complementarity between output and environment of a quantum channel (or, more generally, completely positive (CP) map), making an observation that the output purity characteristics forExpand
Monotonicity of quantum relative entropy revisited
Monotonicity under coarse-graining is a crucial property of the quantum relative entropy. The aim of this paper is to investigate the condition of equality in the monotonicity theorem and in itsExpand
