The ARM (Application Response Measurement) standard provides a way to manage business transactions. By embedding simple calls to an agent supporting ARM an application can be managed for availability, service level agreements, and capacity planning. ARM provides a way for applications to provide additional information about transactions, including the relationship between parent and child transactions end-to-end.
