We study the effects of momentum relaxation on the holographic Weyl semimetal which exhibits a topological quantum phase transition between the Weyl semimetal phase and a topological trivial phase. The conservation of momentum in the field theory is broken by the axion fields in holography. The topological Weyl semimetal phase is characterized by a nontrivial anomalous Hall conductivity. We find that the critical value of the phase transition decreases when we increase the momentum relaxation…

Momentum relaxation of holographic Weyl semimetal from massive gravity
We consider the effects of momentum relaxation on the topological quantum phase transitions in holographic Weyl semimetals. The translational symmetry breaking in the field theory is realized in the
A Weyl-Z2 semimetal from holography
Abstract We present effective field theories for the weakly coupled Weyl-Z2 semimetal, as well as the holographic realization for the strongly coupled case. In both cases, the anomalous systems have

Axial Hall effect and universality of holographic Weyl semi-metals
A bstractThe holographic Weyl semimetal is a model of a strongly coupled topological semi-metal. A topological quantum phase transition separates a topological phase with non-vanishing anomalous Hall
Weyl semimetal/insulator transition from holography
A bstractWe study a holographic model which exhibits a quantum phase transition from the strongly interacting Weyl semimetal phase to an insulating phase. In the holographic insulating phase there is
Odd Viscosity in the Quantum Critical Region of a Holographic Weyl Semimetal.
A novel example in which the mixed axial gravitational anomaly gives rise to a transport coefficient at first order in derivatives at finite temperature in a holographic model of a Weyl semimetal.
The holographic Weyl semi-metal
We present a holographic model of a Weyl semi-metal. We show the evidences that upon varying a mass parameter the model undergoes a sharp crossover at small temperature from a topologically
Chiral vortical conductivity across a topological phase transition from holography
We study the chiral vortical conductivity in a holographic Weyl semimetal model, which describes a topological phase transition from the strongly coupled topologically nontrivial phase to a trivial
Quantum Phase Transition between a Topological and a Trivial Semimetal from Holography.
A holographic model of a topological Weyl semimetal with a time-reversal breaking parameter and a mass deformation leading to restoration of time reversal at the end point of the RG flow in the trivial phase is presented.
A smeared quantum phase transition in disordered holography
A bstractWe study the effects of quenched one-dimensional disorder on the holographic Weyl semimetal quantum phase transition (QPT), with a particular focus on the quantum critical region. We observe
Strong-coupling phases of 3D Dirac and Weyl semimetals. A renormalization group approach
A bstractWe investigate the strong-coupling phases that may arise in 3D Dirac and Weyl semimetals under the effect of the long-range Coulomb interaction, considering the many-body theory of these
An improved holographic nodal line semimetal
We study an improved holographic model for the strongly coupled nodal line semimetal which satisfies the duality relation between the rank two tensor operators ψ̄γμνψ and ψ̄γμνγ5ψ. We introduce a
Topological nodal line semimetals in holography
A bstractWe show a holographic model of a strongly coupled topological nodal line semimetal (NLSM) and find that the NLSM phase could go through a quantum phase transition to a topologically trivial
