A newly emerging porcine circovirus, designated PCV3, has been reported in various countries (USA, Poland, South Korea and China) since 2017. Its presence may be associated with porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome (PDNS), reproductive failure, and multisystem inflammation.
