Abstract

Photosystem I reaction center was isolated from the cyanobacterium, Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803, in a form which contains seven different polypeptide subunits. One of the subunits, with a molecular mass of about 16 kDa, was isolated, and protein sequence information was obtained for the amino terminus and several tryptic peptides.
