Nuclear oligomerization domains (NODs) are cytosolic pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) to detect bacterial component. In this study, the molecular cloning and genomic characterization of grass carp NOD1 (gcNOD1) and grass carp NOD2 (gcNOD2) were reported. The complete open reading frame of gcNOD1 contains 2814 bp, encoding a 937-amino acid polypeptide. The gcNOD2 cDNA sequence encodes 982-amino acid polypeptide.
