Mice deficient in lymphotoxin beta receptor (LTbetaR) or interleukin 7 receptor alpha (IL-7Ralpha) lack Peyer's patches (PPs). Deficiency in CXC chemokine receptor 5 (CXCR5) also severely affects the development of PPs.
