We investigate whether Swampland constraints on the low-energy dynamics of weakly coupled, moduli-stabilised string vacua in AdS can be related to inconsistencies of their putative holographic duals or, more generally, recast in terms of CFT data. We find that various swampland consistency constraints are equivalent to a negativity condition on the sign of certain mixed anomalous dimensions. This condition is similar to well-established CFT positivity bounds arising from causality and unitarity…

Tackling the SDC in AdS with CFTs
We study the Swampland Distance Conjecture for supersymmetric theories with AdS${}_5$ backgrounds and fixed radius through their $\mathcal{N}=2$ SCFT holographic duals. By the Maldacena-Zhiboedov
Bulk Reconstruction in Moduli Space Holography
It was recently suggested that certain UV-completable supersymmetric actions can be characterized by the solutions to an auxiliary non-linear sigma-model with special asymptotic boundary conditions.
A CFT distance conjecture
Abstract We formulate a series of conjectures relating the geometry of conformal manifolds to the spectrum of local operators in conformal field theories in d > 2 spacetime dimensions. We focus on
Exploring The Holographic Swampland
We extend studies of holographic aspects of moduli stabilisation scenarios to both fibred versions of LVS and the type IIA DGKT flux vacua. We study the holographic properties of the low-energy
Swampland Conditions for Higher Derivative Couplings from CFT
There are effective field theories that cannot be embedded in any UV complete theory. We consider scalar effective field theories, with and without dynamical gravity, in D-dimensional anti-de Sitter
On TCS G2 manifolds and 4D emergent strings
In this note, we study the Swampland Distance Conjecture in TCS $G_2$ manifold compactifications of M-theory. In particular, we are interested in testing a refined version -- the Emergent String

Double-trace flows and the swampland
A bstractWe explore the idea that large N, non-supersymmetric conformal field theories with a parametrically large gap to higher spin single-trace operators may be obtained as infrared fixed points
Putting the boot into the swampland
A bstractThe swampland program of delineating the space of effective field theories consistent with quantum gravity appears similar to the bootstrap program of delineating the space of quantum field
The swampland conjecture and F-term axion monodromy inflation
A bstractWe continue the investigation of F-term axion monodromy inflation in string theory, while seriously taking the issue of moduli stabilization into account. For a number of closed and open
On the Geometry of the String Landscape and the Swampland
We make a number of conjectures about the geometry of continuous moduli parameterizing the string landscape. In particular we conjecture that such moduli are always given by expectation value of
Unitarity and the holographic S-Matrix
A bstractThe bulk S-Matrix can be given a non-perturbative definition in terms of the flat space limit of AdS/CFT. We show that the unitarity of the S-Matrix, ie the optical theorem, can be derived
The refined Swampland Distance Conjecture in Calabi-Yau moduli spaces
A bstractThe Swampland Distance Conjecture claims that effective theories derived from a consistent theory of quantum gravity only have a finite range of validity. This will imply drastic
On the cosmological implications of the string Swampland
Abstract We study constraints imposed by two proposed string Swampland criteria on cosmology. These criteria involve an upper bound on the range traversed by scalar fields as well as a lower bound on

A bstractThe Weak Gravity Conjecture (WGC) demands the existence of superextremal particles in any consistent quantum theory of gravity. The standard lore is that these particles are introduced to
Saltatory de Sitter String Vacua
We extend a recent scenario of Kachru, Kallosh, Linde and Trivedi to fix the string moduli fields by using a combination of fluxes and non-perturbative superpotentials, leading to de Sitter vacua. In
Systematics of moduli stabilisation in Calabi-Yau flux compactifications
We study the large volume limit of the scalar potential in Calabi-Yau flux compactifications of type IIB string theory. Under general circumstances there exists a limit in which the potential
