In this paper, we employ normalized modulation spectral features for objective voice quality assessment regarding grade (hoarseness). Modulation spectra usually produce a high-dimensionality space. For classification purposes, the size of the original space is reduced using Higher Order Singular Value Decomposition (SVD).
