Treatments of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), the most common form of lung cancer, still remain poor. Interferon alpha (IFN-alpha), an important physiological immunomodulator, possesses direct cytotoxic and cytostatic effects on tumour cells, antiangiogenic effects, and activates anti-tumour immunity.
