  • Amyloid aggregation has been associated with numerous human pathological diseases. A recent study has demonstrated that silk fibroin intermittently endorses amyloidogenesis in vivo. In the current study, we explored the propensity of silk fibroin to undergo amyloid-like aggregation and its prevention using an optimized concoction of curcumin with β-cyclodextrin.
