Modular Symmetry and Fractional Charges in N = 2 Supersymmetric Yang-Mills and the Quantum Hall Effect

The parallel rôles of modular symmetry in N = 2 supersymmetric SU(2) Yang-Mills and in the quantum Hall effect are reviewed.
